External Experts

The external experts of the CCCC are those individuals and institutions who accepted the invitation of the Centre to closely collaborate and significantly contribute with their expertise, recommendations and/or know-how to various questions related to specific processes and/or activities of the Centre.

So far the following external experts provided advice and made recommendations on formulations, development and/or structuring of the present concept:

Hakan Guerses
Dr. phil., born 1961 in Istanbul; since 1981 living in Vienna
Education: 1994 Doctorate of Philosophy with the thesis „Libri catenati. A historical-philosophical study of secondary discourses“; 1981 start of the study of philosophy (Minor: Theater Studies) at the University of Vienna; 1979-1980 Studied chemistry at Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) in Ankara; 1972-1979 bilingual (German / Turkish) Gymnasium Istanbul Erkek Lisesi
Expertise: History of hermeneutics; contemporary French philosophy, philosophy of difference and Intercultural philosophy, theories of social criticism; collective identities, cultural theories
Current programs: Researcher since 2006 in the Austrian Society for Political Education. Since 1997 lecturer at the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Vienna
since 2006 lecturer of the project „International Development“ at the University of Vienna. Since 2005 lecturer at the university course Intercultural skills (MA) at the Danube University Krems.

Christian Henner-Fehr
M.A., Christian Henner-Fehr is working as a trainer, coach and
consultant in the field of arts management and lives in
Vienna/Austria. The Company CHF Kulturmanagement, which he founded in 1997, offers services to individuals, nonprofit and for-profit organisations with the aim of establishing
structures and conditions that can be used by arts and
cultural organisations as a basis for realising their ideas.
During the last few years the Company has offered
programmes on financial sources for cultural projects, on project management and online communication (web2.0).

Michael Hüttler
Dr.phil., studied theatre, film and media studies as well as journalism and communication studies at Vienna University; worked in a bank for several years prior to studying. Teaches at Vienna University, Department for Theatre-, Film- and Mediastudies. Lectured at Yeditepe University Istanbul (2001 - 2003), and has been conducting research for the Da Ponte Institute and the Don Juan Archiv Wien since 2001. Since 2007, he has been head of Don Juan Archiv Wien Forschungsverlag Current research focuses on forms of music and popular theatre in the eighteenth century.

Suna Suner
M.A., Born in Ankara, B.A. degree in Conference Translation & Interpretation (Turkish & English) from Hacettepe University. Instructor of English for six years and Teaching Assistant at the Management of Performing Arts department for two years at Istanbul Bilgi University, 2004 M.A. degree in Performing Arts from Middlesex University in London. Stage performer for seven years at the Istanbul-based Kumpanya Theatre Co., having also devised her own performances. She sang not only in polyphonic choirs, but also with miscellaneous bands including Istanbul Blues Company, having performed in numerous Turkish festivals and venues. 2004-2007 worked as archive associate at the Viennese Da Ponte Institute, 2007 Don Juan Archiv Wien as performing arts researcher. Currently continues her doctoral studies at the Institute of Theatre, Film & Media Studies at the University of Vienna; and performance work in Vienna and Istanbul.

Karl Grünböck
Seit 1992 tätig als Bilanzbuchhalter und financial accountant für EU-Projekte verschiedener NonProfit Organisationen im Bereich Theater, Musik, Tanz.

Without their involvement and contributions this concept would not be the same. It is the intention of the CCCC to work also in its future with the above experts as well as to establish collaboration with new and relevant external experts from various fields.
